Say No to Yo-Yo Dieting & Yes to A Firmer You

Like clockwork, so many of us lose weight in the summer and then come fall we start to gain it back causing an all-too-common cycle of yo-yo dieting. Sip, Sip Hooray!

All we can say is “WOW”. Dr. Shawna Hogan and our team at Regatta Chiropractic & Laser Center really felt the love from our Emerald Coast community at our Sip, Sip Hooray Regatta Chiropractic and Laser Center Turns Five event held Friday, September 8. Many of our current patients and interested community peers joined us for a morning of healthy conversations centered around helping you look and feel your best. Delicious light bites and smoothies were provided courtesy of Personal Chef, Meredith Spector.

Age Is So Much More Than Just A Number…

Why is it that everyone says you need to embrace getting older? Sure, you have a stronger sense of who you really are, a better awareness of the world we live in, and more life experiences than you probably care to remember to keep you from making the same mistakes twice…or maybe three times. Regardless, most of us are not sold on the thought of our bodies changing with age. Everything starts heading south and unfortunately, I am not talking about the beach. You know what we mean - chests sag, rear-ends vanish, arms start flapping in the wind, and do I even need to mention the dimples that seems to multiply on our thighs? No matter how many salads and steamed vegetables we eat or miles we run, many of us just cannot seem to outsmart the stubborn fat, cellulite and sagging skin that come with age.

Summertime Rewind

We’ve allowed our exercise routines and healthy eating habits to quietly take a back seat and now we’re wondering why our waistlines have expanded!
